We connect an OBD-II scanner to your vehicle's diagnostic port to read fault codes from the Engine Control Unit and pull real-time performance data. That tells us whether a warning light, misfire, stalling or poor acceleration is coming from the engine, ignition, fuel system or electrical side, before we start pulling anything apart.
We also check the alternator and starter as part of a full electrical test, since a warning light and a flat battery often share the same root cause.
